Qualitas Semiconductor, a company specializing in high-speed interface IP licensing and design services, introduced mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) for mobile devices, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) for artificial intelligence and data centers, and 100Gbps Serdes (SERDES) and display technologies to the global market. Qualitas Semiconductor participated in the OFC/NFOEC (The Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition/National Fiber Optics Engineers Conference) 2024 held from March 26 to 28 in San Diego. In particular, DisplayPort 2.0 All-optic AOC introduced at this exhibition is a product that applies its own Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) solution and Optical Front-End IC, and can transmit both high-speed video signals and sideband signals as optical signals. Quartas Semiconductor has been preparing circuit products for high-speed communication for a long time based on its own IP technology, expecting that communication demand for AI and cloud services will be concentrated in data centers. "We introduced SoC and AOC products based on interface IP technology, and we are happy that various technologies and know-how on the design and design verification of Qualitas Semiconductor have been delivered to global customers," said Kim Doo-ho, CEO of Qualitas Semiconductor. Qualitas Semiconductor provides interface IP, a high-speed interconnect solution required for complex and vast amounts of data operations such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, data centers, and AR/VR. It is the largest technology manpower infrastructure among domestic semiconductor IP developers and is the only company in Korea to secure global top-tier technological status through the development of 100G-class Sudes and PCIe 6.0 PHY using Multi-Level Signaling Sudes technology.
